Murrow on DVD

October 14, 2006

Edward R. Murrow is legendary. Films have been inspired by his legacy. “Good Night and Good Luck” isn’t the only one. There is the 1986 HBO film “Murrow“.

Of course, if you’re looking for all things Murrow there is much more to check out in the video world than just fictional accounts based upon his life.

You can pick up “The Best of See It Now“, released in 1993. Or that 1957 television version of War of Worlds that Murrow narrated.

There’s documentaries aplenty and many other collections out there too. “The Best of Person to Person“, “The Edward R. Murrow Collection.” Others, just look around.

One Response to “Murrow on DVD”

  1. Alfredo T. Says:

I’m going to buy the Edward R. Murrow collection and possibly some other Murrow videos. I’m wondering, is “The Best of See It Now” volume in the Murrow collection set the same as “The Best of See It Now” DVD that is sold separately at Amazon.com and elsewhere?
